First was a stop at the beach at Qualicum Beach for lunch at The Shore Restaurant (take out fish and chips).

Then on to the International Sand Sculpting Exhibition, on at the Parksville Beachfest after a two year hiatus. Sand sculptors from all over the world compete as either singles or pairs.

The Theme this year is the "Roaring 20's"
