Guilds entered displays and competed for several awards.

This is the Seattle Weavers Guild, who were awarded Best Use of Conference Colours.

Coquitlam Weavers won Best Interpretation of the Conference Theme - Confluences

Lethbridge Handcraft Guild had a display of Friendship Squares and Tea Towels, both woven for their 70th anniversary. The members wove squares using the colours of the Lethbridge tartan. They traded squares and then designed their own project incorporating the squares. The towels used colours popular in 1949.

They shared the prize for a booth by a guild with less than 20 members.

This amazing, mostly needle felted, display is by the Gabriola Island guild. They shared the other half of the award for a guild of less than 20 members.

Confluence of Fashion and Fabric by the Greater Vancouver Weavers and Spinners won the Best in Show award.

Attendees could take part in a tea towel exchange - you could bring any number and take as many as you brought.

Here we are looking from the other end of the table before the mad scramble began. It was pretty civilized and all over in about ten minutes!
