The first sweater of 2017
October 2016-February 2017

This sweater started as a different pattern and I was half way up the back when I discovered that the gauge was all wrong and that the busy yarn didn't go with the lacy pattern I was using. So this one really started in December!

Here it is following "wet finishing" and spread on a net dryer to dry. The black blob is my tape measure for making sure that it was blocked to the correct size. It took three days to dry.

The yarn is NORO Mirai - Cotton-silk-viscose-polyamide. The pattern is a modification of "Cropped Cardigan" by Lorna Miser in Issue 8 of the NORO Knitting Magazine.

My knitting group were all doing something from the magazine and I wasn't into making a poncho.
