The table loom had some warp left after a workshop last fall so (being too cheap to throw it away) after Christmas I started weaving "mug rugs" (coasters for the non-weavers). It was finally all used up by the 13th.

15 mug rugs all rolled up on the cloth beam, with #16 at the top.

Off the loom, ready for wet finishing.

Wet finished and in the middle of the hard press.

For the weavers, the top row and bottom centre are all variations of Swedish Lace. Lower left is 2/2 twill alternated with tabby shots. Lower right is plain weave. Those two don't compress like the lace.

The upper pair are straight twill treadling. The lower pair are point twill treadling. Weft colours were reversed on the two on the right. The blue yarn is supposed to be the same size as the white, but it wanted to pack in tighter.

Two more variations on Swedish lace.

Allover lace in a different treadling from the allover lace in the top photo.
