When I finished Allan's vest I was (gasp!) without anything to knit!
In my stash I had two skeins of a sock weight yarn from Songbird Yarn & Fibres. The colour way is called "Rufous Hummingbird! One skein was just the right amount of yardage for a small shawl.

Searching in my pattern stash, I found a pattern called "Wingspan" that I've been meaning to try.
About six weeks later - here it is - all finished, and pinned out to dry on the blocking mats.

I decided that "Neil" showed off the shawl better than the larger bear.
It's a very small shawl - large scarf - maybe it should be called a "sharf!"
