Three clematis are all in bloom at once. The white blossoms are about 6 inches across.

The first blossom on a rose we added last summer. We discovered that it had to be protected from the deer to avoid having the buds nipped off.

This rose - planted by the former owners - apparently doesn't taste good as it has survived without a barrier.

One of the irises in the back yard actually blossomed this year!

A small rhododendron that we moved last year is happily blooming at the front edge of the forest.

There are foxglove that have seeded themselves in various spots in the back yard.
