The Lace-cap hydrangea is blooming. Mr Google tells me that the blue part is the fertile flowers, while the large white blossoms around the outside are sterile flowers.

A look at a lacy blossom from a different angle. We just planted this one last year.

The blossoms on the "Mophead" hydrangea seem to be getting darker in colour.

Some of the day lilies at the side of the house are starting to bloom. This is a new one that we planted last year.

We have a big clump of these orange day lilies.

The Orchid cactus that bloomed in the house in May has been hanging outside for about a month. It now has two more blossoms open and three buds, so it must be happy outside.

We thought that we ordered two kinds of lilies, but all of them are the same. It's a good thing that they are pretty, although we also thought that the "red border" would be showier.

Our small Mophead hydrangea has started to bloom. Ours is all blue. They also come in pink and purple.

It must like us, as each year it has more blossoms than the year before.

The begonias that we bought to add colour to the bed next the house are bright and cheerful.

In real life this calla lily is almost black. The camera just can't seem to catch the colour. We have two of them in large pots beside the front doorstep.

The borage that we got to encourage bees is blooming and will seed itself to form a clump for next year.
