Looking right into the bottom of that giant blossom.

The "tiger" lilies have already started to bloom! That has to be almost a month early.

The pink poppies are smaller - about 5 inches across, but have many more blossoms .

(31:05:2016)

The first dahlia blossom.

The little "ghost" maple tree has interesting leaves.

(31:05:2016)

The climbing Hot Cocoa rose is in full bloom.

It has more blossom than ever at the top of the garden arch.

I find foxglove sort of straggly. The whole stem is never in bloom at once. But up close they are amazing.

Here is a peek into another foxglove. They have seeded themselves randomly all over the yard.

(31:05:2016)

In the back yard, a peony that we found here is blooming this year.

(31:05:2016)

The little yellow rose is still blooming.

(31:05:2016)

We have added a few Martha Washington geraniums for colour later in the summer.

A closer look at a Hot Cocoa bud.

And one more rose. Inhale!
