Summer flowers already

The first rose of summer. This blossom on one of our older roses is about an inch and a half across.

We bought this rose - called Neptune - on our way home from Mother's Day lunch last week, and one of its buds is already opening.

OK - the honeysuckle is a spring flower, but it's still in full bloom and the humming birds love it.
