I put some houseplants outside for the summer, including several Orchid Cactus plants.
Recently we noticed that three of them had several buds.

The pink one on the left had one really large bud!

Three days later the blossoms are starting to open.
(03:08:2019)
Including that big pink one!

Not to be outdone, the fuchsias nearby are putting on a show.

We especially like this one.

After three days away we found many more blossoms fully open. This is the third plant in bloom.

Several pink ones are open now.

And now there are many red ones. The largest are about four inches across.

Meanwhile, around the corner, these are the best poppies we've had all season.
(07:08:2019)
There are still a few daylilies blooming

In the front yard this dahlia has another huge blossom.

The Neptune rose has some new blossoms that have snuck outside the deer cage. It first bloomed early in May.

The tall lilies are almost finished blooming.
(07:08:2019)
And the Brown-eyed Susans are now in full bloom.

One more day, and the canna lily has burst into bloom!
