We've been invaded by a hungry flock of 50 or 60 Pine Siskins!

It was so windy today that we had to take down the seed feeders, but we spread some seed on the deck and set this feeder close to the house - much to the glee of the cats!

Consternation! The suet feeder blew down and landed with the open side down. Leaving the plastic on one side keeps the rain from destroying it but means that the birds can only get at it from one side.
