A couple of days of sunshine and the miniature Japanese maple is golden.

Yesterday was windy and it looks like the cherry leaves are finally all on the ground.

(28:11:2022)

The front yard filled three more bags.

(28:11:2022)
Don't know what to say about this one!

The vertical stick is (in theory) the property line to the west of us. We left about 3 inches outside the parking pad so as not to infringe on their side.

This morning the leaves were raked out on to the stone parking pad. Nice of them to do this for us eh!

By afternoon it's time to do the back yard - Shadow and Charlie have a warm viewing spot. Well, Shadow did until Charlie moved in and pushed him out!

(28:11:2022)

The back yard wasn't so covered with leaves as the front.

(28:11:2022)
But it sure was a lot of raking. The leaf blower couldn't be used as it rained then froze the night before and they were stuck down.

(28:11:2022)

More heaps of leaves. They seem to multiply as you rake.

(28:11:2022)
Three more bags full and the back grass is green again.

(28:11:2022)

Just in time - the next morning we got up to a dusting of snow.

(29:11:2022)

About an hour after the picture above it started to snow and blow vigorously.

Here is the front yard about five hours later - the yard is all white and the snow is still coming in sideways.

(29:11:2022)

Building up on the newspaper box and the rhododendron by the front door.

(29:11:2022)
A white world - but it's probably only one or two inches deep. The neighbour's Christmas blow-ups aren't doing so well today.

(28:11:2022)

Plus about one and half hours! And still falling.

By 7 PM there was about 6 inches but snowing had stopped and it was starting to melt! Time to head out with the snow blower and shovel.

(29:11:2022)
The next morning - after removing a plow ridge and clearing the last centimetre of snowfall.

The little maple has lost most of its leaves to the wind and being battered by the snow blower.

(30:11:2022)

There's a yucca buried by the sign post at the end of the driveway.

(30:11:2022)
As it's melting and we don't need to use it today, the snow can fall off the truck without help.

(30:11:2022)

The back yard - most of the snow has already fallen out of the trees. They were all white for a few hours yesterday.
