The first bud has appeared on the Hot Cocoa rose.

The Pieris by the back deck was becoming overgrown. One lower branch that was hanging to the side has been removed, and after this was taken the one hanging to the side near the top was removed too. It looks more like a tree now.

The blossoms on the climbing rose at the east side of the deck change colour as they age.

That Hot Cocoa that was a bud two days ago is now fully open.

With all the cages made for the front yard, there was a lot of cut off 3/4 inch ABS. This peonie usually needs help when it comes into full bloom (usually a little later that the others). I just had to try to make a circular support. (Yes it was easy)

We stopped by Point Holmes after lunch, and at the lowest tide we have seen.
The green/yellow patch on the beach, center front, is caused by a creek that runs from the airport into the Salish Sea at that location, bringing all kinds of human stuff with it.
