After a couple of days of wind and rain, the back lawn - that had been mowed - is covered with leaves again.

My uncle, Ron Keay, gave us this cabin that hides under the rhododendron about 30 years ago. It was made of pieces of willow and old shingles from his chicken house. It is slowly disintegrating in the moisture of Vancouver Island.
