Picking up the cherry blossoms filled half of the big bin and most of the little one. This had shaken down over night.

The plants that live in the house all winter have moved back outside to the front deck.

(18:05:2025)
We're trying a new plant - it's called Pink Wand Flower (Gaura lindheimeri) which Google says is a tiype of Gardenia.

(18:05:2025)

Two new Cana lilies have been put in pots in the front yard.

(18:05:2025)
The dahlias potted earlier are getting tall.

(18:05:2025)

Both of them have buds already.

(18:05:2025)
The Hansa rose is starting to bloom.

(18:05:2025)

And there are buds on the Julia Child rose we recently planted, as well as most of the new roses we planted last fall.

(18:05:2025)
The early clematis blossoms have turned to fluff.

(18:05:2025)

This is one of two small azaleas purchased to replace one that died. It's almost finished blooming for this year.

(18:05:2025)
We've also been adding lupines - the larger one is last year's, the little one was planted just this week.

(18:05:2025)

A small rhododendron in the back yard is blooming for the first time. It was moved twice before finding a spot that it likes.

(18:05:2025)
Not far away, this rhodo near the bird bath will soon be in bloom.

(18:05:2025)

The White Feather Hosta is growing. From a distance it looks like a bird sitting on the ground.

(18:05:2025)
On the back deck - a pot of Red Profusion cherry tomatoes from seeds saved by Sheila's sister.

(19:05:2025)

Bark mulch now covers all that black plastic at the back of the house.

(19:05:2025)
A new hosta we planted last fall on the slope at the west side of the house has survived the winter and is growing quickly.

(19:05:2025)

We'll soon have lots of blossoms on the chives.

(19:05:2025)
And maybe strawberries before the 1st of June!
