The rhododendron near our back yard bird bath has only five blossoms this year! These are not quite fully open. (22:05:2025) |

Nearby we found a new plant. Google says it's Star Flower - a native plant that grows on the west coast from southern BC to California. It doesn't look like a weed, so it's welcome in our "forest." (22:05:2025) |
