Just a little green showing now.

(09:11:2025)

In two days the green is gone and red is showing up.

(11:11:2025)
More red and glowing in the morning sun.

(12:11:2025)

Sheila's truck is parked under our neighbour's Ancient Redwood - a deciduous conifer that loses its needles in the fall - all those needles end up all over the truck and our driveway!

(13:11:2025)
One day later and maple leaves are being added to all the cherry leaves one the ground.

(13:11:2025)

The rain held off long enough for Allan to cover the upper raised bed. The potted perennials from the front yard will shelter there for the winter.

(13:11:2025)
All over orange and red now and more leaves starting to fall.

(14:11:2025)

Skip two days and there are getting to be gaps in the leaves now.

(16:11:2025)
More leaves down and turning brown.

(17:11:2025)

And it's time to clear the remaining cherry leaves off the front yard.

(17:11:2025)
What's this?! The Julia Child rose making one last try at summer.

(17:11:2025)

All blown up into a pile - these filled a small yard waste bin and one bag.

(17:11:2025)
Leaves and needles on the driveway filled another bag.
