Fall has definitely arrived.

After a windy night the back lawn was mostly yellow and brown.

And this was just the start - there were two more windy days before the man who cuts our grass came on the 21st and mowed them all up!

There will be lots more, as not all the leaves have turned colour yet.

Round two. After the first lot was picked up the back lawn was mostly green for about two days - then we had another wind storm. So he can do it again this Tuesday. And these will be wet as we've also had about 3 inches of rain in the past two days.

Indoors the Zygo cactuses are starting to bloom.

In the front yard, the dogwood is turning red.

And the small Japanese has changed from purple to scarlet!

The cherry tree has lots of yellow leaves in the centre.

And they are falling quickly in the wind. These few in our yard - most have gone to the neighbours and down the street!
