Heather brought us some apples from their tree, so they've been chopped up to make apple sauce.

It only takes a few minutes of cooking to turn them to mush.

(11:09:2025)
After the cooked apples are forced through a sieve to take out the skins, the remaining sauce is bagged and goes into the freezer.

(11:09:2025)

There doesn't seem to be a lot blooming on first glance these days.

(13:09:2025)
Not many blossoms form this direction either.

(13:09:2025)

But the Rose of Sharon is still blooming and the bees are happy.

(13:09:2025)
Just one dahlia has a new blossom.

(13:09:2025)

And that bright canna is still blooming.

(13:09:2025)
There are a few blossoms on the Julia Child rose.

(13:09:2025)

And if you look around there are some Martha Washington geraniums still blooming.

(13:09:2025)
Also these bright marigolds!
