The Milner Garden is famous for its rhododendrons scattered throughout an "ancient forest".

Not everything in bloom right now is a rhododendron. These are probably azaleas.

The original family home has been turned into a tea house and museum. It looks out over the lawn facing the gardens and a view of Georgia Strait.

A close look at the azalea blossoms.

And the orange one.

(23:04:2016)

Or is the orange one a rhodo??

(23:04:2016)

No doubt that this one is a rhododendron.

(23:04:2016)

Some have small dainty blossoms.

(23:04:2016)

Many of the them are tall trees and solid with blossoms.

An ancient apple tree, covered with moss.

(23:04:2016)

This one is just starting to bloom.

(23:04:2016)

Not a rhodo - this is a "snowball" tree.

(23:04:2016)

Some have large bright blossoms.

Zooming in one of the blossoms of the Dove Tree.

(23:04:2016)

Another exquisite rhododendron.

(23:04:2016)

A boardwalk is being built through the ancient trees near the strait.

(23:04:2016)

Another amazing rhodo.

(23:04:2016)

Azalea?

(23:04:2016)

They come in all shapes and sizes.

(23:04:2016)

One more blossom.
