In the three days since I took the picture below many more fritillaria are out, including the white ones.

We didn't know we had this tiny tulip! Maybe it was among some new bulbs planted last year. (It is a "Wild Blue Heart" from Becks buibs)

(10:04:2020)
These are the same tulip plant as the bud below.

At the front of the house our big rhododendron is just starting to bloom. This isn't fully open.

(10:04:2020)
Beside the shop door and the rain barrel lives one early tulip.

(10:04:2020)
The hyacinths are in full bloom.

(07:04:2020)

The fritillaries are just starting to bloom.

(07:04:2020)
The forsythia has lots of blossoms too.

(07:04:2020)

The double primula is fully out now.

(07:04:2020)
So is this yellow one.

(07:04:2020)

Nearby the grape hyacinths are blooming.

(07:04:2020)
The first tulip is almost open. Crossing fingers that whatever chewed off the crocus tops doesn't find the tulips.

I set this fountain up this afternoon. Yes it's early but I know there are those out there who want it ASAP. So while filling the reservoir I had two Chickadee's sitting on the fence in the background about 2 feet from my head DEMANDING I get done and get out of the road. Figuring it might be interesting to watch what happens I sat down about 8 feet away, but one of the Chickadee's was in the bath before I got sat, and the second one was on watch waiting his turn.

(07:04:2020)
Next to the patio the Pieras is blooming and has new red growth.

(07:04:2020)

The small Ancient Redwood is just starting to get new needles.

(07:04:2020)
In the house, a stained glass hanging that Allan made years ago has been moved from its hiding place in the spare bedroom to the window beside the front door.
