A closer look!

The cactuses that we hung outside seem to like being in the sun.

(12:08:2020)

The buds on the pink one are ahead of the red ones.

(12:08:2020)
Five days later the some of the cactus blossoms are almost open.

(17:08:2020)

A big one on the pink plant.

(18:08:2020)
And red ones starting to open - there are lots more to come.

(19:08:2020)

Beside the house, this big spider and spoon dahlia is blooming.

(20:08:2020)
And out in front the last of the lilies is a double pink.

(20:08:2020)

This smaller dahlia is still blooming.

(20:08:2020)
We thought the Neptune rose had finished, but it's blooming again.

(20:08:2020)

The Hot Cocoa is still showing off.

(20:08:2020)
And now the Rose of Sharon is in bloom.

(20:08:2020)

The individual blossoms only last for a day, but are quickly replaced. It will continue to bloom for at least a month.

(20:08:2020)
Fast forward two days - this is the only blossom on one of the orchid cactuses but it is larger than all the rest.

(22:08:2020)
Many more are open on the one with all the buds - and still more to come!

(22:08:2020)
The pink blossoms all have their backs to us.

(22:08:2020)
To see them you have to go around the other side and peek in through a tomato plant and the wires.
