Fire Roasted Peppers
August 29th and 30th

We started with 18 peppers, but later went back and got five more.

The first step is to seed and cut them in strips.

They are closely watched on the barbecue and turned several times to prevent burning.

Back in from the barbecue, Allan then peels each strip and puts them on a cookie sheet.

Into the freezer. Once frozen they will be put in bags for use on pizzas and pasta next winter! He did three cookie sheets full.
