The small azalea is really happy with us this year!

There are just two of these large double tulips - they hide below the rhododendron.

Tulips, fritillaria and hyacinths.

Indoors - Allan installed a new LED plant lights. This is a LED grow light strip from Lee Valley. We have had Sunblaster grow lights in here for about 2 years, but they keep failing. Bulbs die, and this time the brains died. BUT they do have a neat mounting system, which when I striped all the old stuff out left a perfect way of mounting 8 feet of the LED lamps! Acts as mount, heat sink, and reflector. And no you really would not want to have to look at the light, if you can avoid it.

Well you might not be impressed, but we have the first asparagus up (and likely usable). This is the biggest of 13 shoots that are above ground.
(Oh and we also have (god forbid they should ever meet) 2 meals of purchased asparagus in the fridge)

Cherry tree has burst into bloom in the last couple of days. That means we have rain and wind coming very soon. This is at least ten days earlier than last year!

The red maple behind our deck is blooming!

(04:22:2021)

The Pieris is still blooming too.

All those buds on the small azalea have opened!
