Some tulips that our rabbit friend hasn't found.

There are Hyacinths fully out all over now.

They come in several colours.

The rhododendron outside our front door is starting to bloom. It's an early variety.

The Forsythia is blooming too.

There are a small number of Daffodils - at least now they are standing up instead of being flattened by the rain.

The Fritillaria (toad lily) are already starting to bloom too.

There are Grape Hyacinths blooming in many places in the front yard.

The potted Hosta is starting to grow.

This morning Allan planted some oregano and parsley in our new garden bed at the top of the slope beside the heat pump.

There are lilies and bluebells coming up in the mulch where we thought we had removed all the plants.

The peonies are already sprouting.

First blossoms on a Primula in the back yard.

The white Bleeding Heart is just starting to bloom.

One of the two Trillium plants in our back forest is in bloom.

The Pieris beside the back deck is covered in blossoms.

It is also sprouting new leaves that are red when they come out.

Rhubarb - in a spot where we thought we had removed it! Almost as big as the rhubarb where it was planted on purpose.

The violets beside the back patio have almost finished blooming.

At the front of the house, the Hellebores are all doing well.

The clumping Primulas are starting to bloom too.

The potted Spireas survived the winter and are leafing out.
(05:04:2022)
|

|
And in a front flower bed - the Azalea has two tiny buds!

Ninety minutes after the flower pictures were taken we had a five minute hail storm!
