Bo Bo can live in his pot in the back yard for a couple of weeks till it is cooler and we can get psyched up for planting on the side hill!

The last of the lily blossoms are gone, so it's time to remove the deer fencing. The upgrade this year sure looked better than previous incarnations but took much longer to set up and take down than the old versions.

The lettuce starts we showed you week before last were all eaten by something. They were replanted and a "deer wire" cage put around them. They were eaten again by something small enough to get through the wire. So Allan is using some finer wire to make a cage to go around a new set of plants.

Here we go again - this is the third set of lettuce plants, and this time there is a "trip hazard" nearby.
