Some hot weather flowers July 26th to 30th

Several years ago we planted some "black" ornamental grass. It didn't do well where it was and last summer we moved it. We didn't know it would bloom!

So far it's only about six inches tall, but now has several blossoms.

We have two of these - this one is in a bed right beside the street. The other is in the bed by the driveway, close to the darker pink one above.

This one is between the Neptune rose and the bicolour daylily further up on this page. It has survived (so far) with no deer protection.

This is short lily that comes up under the Hansa rose bush. Inherited from the former owners and never moved to a better location.
