"Nothing New" blooming this week May 31st

It's been "warm" enough that we put the flower baskets outside. So far they haven't been blown away or frozen.

There are columbines starting to bloom in two or three places in the yard.

Buttercups are a weed, but if you can keep them contained they still make a pretty display in the spring.

The alliums are getting bigger.

The red Pieris is even more RED than last week.

Some of the chewed off lettuce has been replaced - and some of the older plants are growing again. This time the little ones are protected from the birds by wire cages.
