Sunrise is late enough to catch horizontal sun on the cherry tree first thing in the morning.

The Big Leaf Maple leaves glow yellow in the morning sun.

The return of the screen at the east end of the deck. It does two things, first it is a place for the rose we moved last spring to climb to where we can see it. And second (and most important) it is a visual for the birds at the feeders that there is an obstacle there. We are tired of killing birds all winter.

Indoors - the Zygo cactuses are starting to bloom.

As they come into bloom I bring them to the living room where we can see them.

This is the newest, and smallest, plant. The others are getting so big I'm running out of room under the plant lights in the basement.

The yellow and white ones are covered in blossoms now.

The pink one has really burst out this week.

And now the orange one is now starting to bloom.

Back outside - the windy fall days have brought down the maple leaves.
