A fence has been put around the lily bed to protect the lilies from the local deer. At the ends are supports for the peonies, which will be in bloom soon. The posts are made of irrigation pipe, and there is a fine net that you can barely see, so it doesn't hide the lilies from being enjoyed.

The California poppies are starting to bloom and the striped tulips are among the last to bloom, so it must be almost summer.

The Hawaiian Ti plants and a spider plant have been moved from the basement, where they spend the winter, to the front deck. The fuchsia was Sheila's birthday present.
