	The climbing rose outside the kitchen window has its first blossoms. There are at least 40 buds on it today! (25:05:2023)
The yellow rose under the Japanese dogwood has started to bloom. It will have blossoms all summer. (25:05:2023)

Bracts have appeared all over the Japanese dogwood. The ones higher up in the sun are pink. (25:05:2023)
	The back yard rhodo is almost fully open now. (25:05:2023)
In the front yard, the Siberian irises are blooming. (24:05:2023)
	Close by, one of the larger irises is also in bloom. (24:05:2023)
This spring we planted a new rose to replace one that died. This one is called Angel Face. (24:05:2023)
	Last fall we dug up some volunteer Dawn Redwoods (Metasequoia glyptostroboides) seeded by the large tree next door. They wintered well and are growing. Anyone want a 60-foot tree for their yard? (24:05:2023)
As the blossoms on the pink azalea at the front of the house age they have increased in size and are turning white. (24:05:2023)
