This white peony just had buds yesterday!

The climbing rose outside the kitchen window has its first blossoms. There are at least 40 buds on it today!

The yellow rose under the Japanese dogwood has started to bloom. It will have blossoms all summer.

This spring we planted a new rose to replace one that died. This one is called Angel Face.

Last fall we dug up some volunteer Dawn Redwoods (Metasequoia glyptostroboides) seeded by the large tree next door. They wintered well and are growing. Anyone want a 60-foot tree for their yard?

As the blossoms on the pink azalea at the front of the house age they have increased in size and are turning white.
