The tall pots on our deck each have a dahlia, a couple of begonias, and some gladiolas that are just starting to bloom.
The pot in between has some Amaranthus (Love Lies Bleeding) that were seeded about a month ago. The seedlings still under lights in the house are about two inches high.

This bed is planted with things 'moved' from other locations. The spirea had been in planters (see the top picture) on each side of the front door stairs for years. Cut back and turned free here they seem to be happy.
The hydrangea was planted, for a short time, on the side hill where the one pictured above is now. In the spring two years ago it looked dead and was literally pulled up by it roots. It lay for a couple of days before it was being chopped up for the yard waste bin.
Since then it spent one summer in a pot in the shaded area of the back yard before being planted here last fall.
