OK - This is a February picture, taken one day when there was actually sunshine and we could see the Comox Glacier, which finally has snow all over it.

This dusting of snow was all gone the following morning, when we had over an inch of rain in the rain gauge.

Another brief snow flurry March 1st melted as it fell, leaving water droplets on every twig.

The Hellebores are now in full bloom.

The crocuses were covered in droplets too. The flower beds are full of them, but they only open when the sun is shining.

The crocuses might beg to differ. Even though the temperature is sitting right on 0oC, it's accumulating like it was colder.

Two hours later, it's still coming down.

Big fat wet flakes falling. This continued for another two hours and accumulated 2 inches before it quit and promptly started to melt.

It turns out that the snow March 2nd was just a rehearsal for the main event. It started to snow again at about 3 AM on the 3rd and by morning we had 4 inches on the ground.
Now Buddha and the crocuses are really buried.

We don't usually see hummingbirds cooperating by sharing the feeder!

The trees in the back yard that were bare by yesterday evening are hanging even lower with wet snow this morning.
