Time to do the second part of the front yard make over.
Well time to finish the whole job, having the crew onsite with all the tools, and trips for supplies will reduce the cost of doing phase III a bunch, and the crew is willing to do it.

Left: The street side, and all the grass to the left of the line will be gone.

Right: Is in front of the house, and again all of the grass to the left will be removed.

Lawn edging moved, and the first of the 'triple mix' garden dirt back fill.

Triple Lawn Mix is a brand name for a mix of sand, soil, and compost made by the local landfill.

The area in front of the house looking towards the front door.

The grass border was left in place to give an area to walk around the yard when it is wet after raining and the micro sprayers in the flower beds over spray in this area.

The view of most of the yard from the front door.

(07:09:2024)
And the whole of the yard from the street.

(07:09:2024)
And the property line area.

The grass has not been watered all summer by either us or next door. Any green you see has come back as a result of the 9.5 mm of rain last week.
