Sunny days bring out the flowers

This "rose" is actually a tulip!

Our small number of daffodils are still blooming.

The forget-me-nots that haven't been weeded out are blooming.

There are raspberries coming under the fence from our neighbour's yard. We don't have room for them, so these will have to go.

The potted Ancient Redwood is leafing out.

The back yard bird bath had to have a deep tray for the winter so there was room for the water heater to keep it from freezing. Now we can go back to using the shallow tray that the birds like better.

The two trillium plants in our back "woods" are blooming.

A couple of sunny days and the Bridal Veil Spirea is now fully in bloom.

We aren't worried about deer eating the peonies, but it decided to try old "deer cages" as supports to hold up the stems which will be much taller than this with heavy blossoms.

Our front yard ornamental cherry tree has burst into bloom in the past 24 hours.

It is one of the largest in our neighbourhood. Usually it is later than the others, but this year they are all blooming at once.

We came home from Easter lunch at Bernie Mackey's and found this fellow enjoying our back yard!
