Day Three

The picture on the left is the 'before' of the art work in the living room.

On the right is an 'edited version' to see what a rearrange would look like.

It was done by using Paint Shop Pro, to cut the individual items out of the left, change the colour of the wall
(this is as close the new paint colour as I could get) then paste the individual images back on the new wall.
Other than the paint colour, One other problem is that because the original was taken at an angle, the angle of the images
when pasted back are left to right reversed!

Never tried this sort of thing before, but hey it is not so bad, and much better that trying to rearrange on the wall.

The painter hung this painting for us so Allan wouldn't have to climb on a ladder propped on the stairs.

Painting all those little triangles beside the steps - and not get any on the carpet - has to be a challenge.

For now it's staying white with just primer on it. We'll decide before the next stage of painting.

Putting the room back together - bookcases in place, lamps and knickknacks added. But the paint should cure longer before we re-hang the paintings.

TV and more lamps put back. A small mat has been purchased to cover all those cords behind the TV.

This is not really part of the paint job, but the instability of the TV was worrisome. It is truly amusing the stuff one can pull from the shop to do things like this.

While keeping in out of the snow we started rehanging our art works - with the help of Allan's two laser levels for lining them up.
