Everything under the LED plant lights looks pink!

This is a bonsai Big Leaf Maple just getting it's first leaves.

This is the guys third year, the first two being in a four inch pot being shuffled around the yard and being watered by being dropped in the bird bath every so often.

Various sorts of lettuce!

We grow several type both for variety, and never knowing who will be best this year!

First the blue thing is a temp/pressure/humidity sensor keeping try of growing condition.

Beside the sensor, is a Red Profusion cherry tomato. In this case the last of the seed Irene Ahner salvaged two seasons ago. Last year I didn't keep these away from my other cherry tomato's so I couldn't trust the seed to be true.

This years crop of cucumber's.

Not in our yard - but the monkeys in the "monkey tree" in the Idiens greenway go indoors for the winter. Their return means it must be spring.

So far we have only three daffodils blossoms in our yard.

But there are lots of hyacinths starting to bloom.

(27:03:2025)

They come in many colours.

I'm not sure if this one will be green or yellow.

The squirrel in the background was a gift from Alex about 15 years ago!

This log cabin was made for us by Sheila's uncle, Ron Keay, sometime in the 1980's.

The "logs" are willow from his yard, and the shingles came from his old chicken house. It was the original house on the farm that both he and Aunt Margaret and Sheila's parents lived in during the first years of their marriages.
