| For Christmas 2013 our grandson Dan gave me a skein of hand dyed yarn made from baby alpaca, silk and cashmere.  Think as soft as you can imagine!  I started knitting in July but just finished it October 19th. Here it is being shown off by my favourite model. The close-up at the right is closer to the actual colour. The pattern, called Skeleton Scarf, comes from a book titled Arctic Lace. It was inspired by the painting of a skeleton on a wooden spoon by the Yup'ik people of Alaska. |     | |||
